This is a painting by my namesake, Raphael. Yes, my name is spelled with an “F” and not a “ph”, but the point being, is that homeboy is my namesake. Anyway, I was thinking about this painting this morning, and it got me thinking about various things. Then my dad called. That got me thinking about other things. Anyway, the more I think about this painting, the more I like it. It’s a peaceful painting, there’s no real action going on, so it’s soothing to me. It’s an almost direct opposite of the other piece I’ve been thinking of. It’s the pre-hellenistic “Boy and a Goose” sculpture. It’s a very turbulent piece. It’s hard to think that a static marble sculpture could have so much movement to it, but it does. The more I think of it, the more I want to know about it, which in turn makes me think about some more. But I digress.

Captain Jean Luc Picard USS Enterprise
OK, so maybe this is a little bit over the top, but this is sort of along the batman thing I posted a couple of days ago. Of course, I think that you have to be a Star Trek fan in order to really appreciate it, since you prolly don’t know who this is. Jean Luc Picard, is the captain of the USS Enterprise, which is the name of the space ship that they use in the show.
Do you remember?
Do you remember that during a few Beavis and Butthead episodes, they’d be sitting there staring at something, and they’d look at each other then look at the TV and without saying a word, they’d change the channel? We as the audience were usually left laughing really hard cuz what was just on was so hideous that words could not ever do it justice. Well, I give you these videos by a guy named Fred Marshall. I think he has potential to be the next Bubb Rubb. Obviously, you’ll need audio and video to truly enjoy it.
