It seems like most of these weddings have a few things in common. There’s almost always a mud pit, a trailer, and lots of land.  Things that aren’t always present are guns and a full set of teeth.  I was surprised by the lack of guns, but not by the lack of teeth.

This one wedding I’m watching now, Vickie and Brandon’s wedding, Brandon is 24 and Vickie is 37. Brandon said that Vickie replaced his favorite cow that passed away just before he met Vickie.  Isn’t that sweet?

I love that Tom Arnold is the host, I don’t think that anyone else could pull off hosting this show.

There are lots of shenanigans on this episode. There’s hog nuts for appetizers, a canoe race, tractors, a mechanical bull and a tug of war with the requisite mud pit.

Ah, the joy, the rapture.

This kid is really enterprising. I love that he wants to be a politician, but it also makes me think that it may be a joke.

Apparently, this kid stole his dad’s credit card, charged $30,000 on the thing and went to town with his friends.  They bought an x-box, some clothes, some other toys and the best thing that they bought:

Hookers.

That’s right, following in the foot steps of other politicians before them, these kids hired a couple of hookers to come to their hotel room.  Don’t worry, they didn’t do anything with the hookers, all they did was play video games with them.

I think when I was 13, I was pretty sheltered, and I had no idea what a hooker was.  Kids grow up fast nowadays, don’t they?

When I told Michelle about this, she said that it was great.  She said that I should try to work on my book about stories from the cab.  It’s been collecting digital dust on my hard drive for a few months now.  I told her that I felt that if these people were willing to pay me for my articles, then that must mean that I’m a somewhat decent writer which only encourages me to finish the book.  We shall see how it all turns out.
