Wow, I wonder how long these people were running this little scam before they got caught. I wonder what it was about the truck that peaked the DPS trooper’s interest.

So, basically, these guys took it upon themselves to “clone” a Texas Department of Transportation safety truck and use it to smuggles drugs. Seriously clever. It makes me wonder how many more of these trucks are out there.

I found out how they got caught. Apparently, they were driving past a DPS trooper, who noticed that the truck looked heavily laden but it appeared to be empty. Apparently, the trooper thought that the truck was too new to have suspension problems and be that low to the ground so he pulled it over.
