What would you do?

in General Musings, Taxi Stories

Today, I took this little old guy to the bank.  He told me that had had a hard time going to sleep because of an error the bank made.  I asked him what happened, and he said:

Somehow, someone deposited $800,000 into my account.  It’s not mine, and I want them to take it out.

They won’t take it out?

No, they won’t!  So I’m headed over there to talk to someone who can take it out of my account and give it back or do whatever it is they want.  I just know it’s not my money and I want it gone.

Of course, I offered to take the money off his hands, he thought I was joking.  What would you do if something like that happened to you?

On a side note, I’m digging working days.  Just that the volume of freaks is lower, and since I no longer have a laptop I can’t blog and drive.  Anyway, talk to y’all soon!

  1. He can be held responsible for that whenever the bank gets around to finding the error. As much as it sucks, he’s right to demand it be removed. Unless of course someone put it in there as a gift, then I say have one hell of a shopping spree!

BTW, I can’t see the pic you posted.

  2. I think another point of concern for the guy, is that he lives in a low income housing project. So, I can imagine that having all that money would create issues with his benefits as well.

Which one of the pictures can you not see?

  3. The one about wearing black.
