Sort of.

The PC anywhere has functionality that this tool doesn't have. I glossed over the parts about how to set up remote desktop and all the intricacies of setting up your home router to allow access to your PC. Pretty much all the techie, meaty stuff. The No-IP people have all that at their site and I didn't feel like repeating it.

The really cool thing about this tool, is that it's free. It does have a bit of a learning curve, but if you can get over the hump of the learning curve, you're golden.

Doesn't PC anywhere do the same thing? I don't know much about the technology, but I think that's what we have installed on our computers.
