I posted over the weekend that my gasoline budget has swollen to a very large portion of my take home pay.  I figured out my projected expenses given what my projected driving pattern is going to be.  Mainly, from home to work and back, plus going to get the chirren and take them home.  Nothing extra beyond that.  Not even adding trips to the gym, or to the store or anything like that.

Given these stats, my projected gasoline expenses are just over $400 a month.  It’s actually $402 to be precise.  There’s really only 1 solution to this problem, and that’s to use less gas.  The question then becomes, how do I do that?  Get a job closer to home, or drive a car that uses less gas.  I’m not liking this one bit.
